QUESTION - What is the Difference between CEDAR and PINE ?
ANSWER
- Cedar looks better and is more durable and rot resistant.
- Cedar has very few knots and therefore is more stable,
i.e. much less likely to warp, twist or shrink. - Pine requires regular re-treatment not necessary with cedar.
- Cedar can save ground space -
by enabling the buildings to be place much closer to adjacent walls / fencing; whereas pine buildings require
a minimum 24" (600mm) space for access to apply regular preservative treatment.
